Not sure if I should post this one here or in the 3DS Max forum. But since I am looking for input from other Poser users with this plugin, I'll try here. This is just a question for the sake of curiosity. The attached pick shows a side by side comparison of the same scene rendered inside Poser 5 and then rendered inside 3DS Max 5 using the new BodyStudio plugin from Reiss Studio. Both use the same SciTech light set from Daz's Complex global lighting 2 pack, with the lighting imported automatically by BodyStudio into Max 5. Ignoring the overall quality improvement of the render in Max for a moment (yay), I wasn't expecting such a drastic difference in the overall light intensity in 3DS Max. In the end, I like the Max lighting much better but I was expecting a darker render in Max based on the Poser results. So I guess my question is this: Has anyone else using this plugin noticed the light intensity being brighter in Max? The doc indicates that the positions and colors are imported, but doesn't say anything about the intensity... is it expected behavior that the lighting intensity will need to be adjusted manually once in Max?
