I wanna start all over. Backup anything I customized. Reinstall P4 Pro then any update. Then PBoost. Then Work my way through multiple CDs. I got folders all over the place. I gotta make order out of this chaos.

It's worth it if you take the time to defrag once you're backed up. Poser will run way better :) Also, the main restorer-of-order in my Poser universe was a disk cataloger by a company called Haxial (shareware). Just feed each disk to it, it reads and memorizes 650 megs in less than 30 seconds. Then when you want that musk ox model that you D'Led a year ago, it tells you exactly which disk it's on in under 10 seconds....Poser bliss!

Patricia- I keep meaning to write on the cd covers what EXACTLY I've got on them , but well, life always seems a bit too short for being that organized , but never too short to add to the chaos ?........... hmmmm. Anyway, I just dl'd this cataloger- looks good, thanks for the link !

Another good Disk Catalog utility is Catfish and it's free.

Ah- but Windows only ! : ( - I checked it out too. You can try the Haxial one for a while before you pay the $20 , and its Mac as well as Windows.

I've just re-installed on a new pc. I was surprised at the amount of crud in my runtime folder that I'd looked at once when I installed it, & then forgot about. I can definately reccommend having a clearout, that way you just need to re-install the stuff you want to use in your pictures & you don't get bogged down in hundreds of folders, unable to fing what you want.
