To all the programmers who work to keep this forum working, and who make changes, a question. Is there a way to put in a code that allows a user to delete only specific threads. I personally like reading certain threads, but others can be boring. I would like to keep the interesting threads where I can view them, but get rid of the clutter. As it is now, we can only remove all threads and this can be irritating. Please let me know, it may be of interest to others as well. just my copper piece. Twoblade

umm... the threads aren't deleted, they're all still in the archives. if you want to go back and read one that was amusing, you can find it there. if you want to follow one that is active, it will reappaer as 'new' when somebody replies to it, the next time you sign in. if you see a 'new' reply to an old, boring thread, just don't read that thread again. i think what you really mean to request is an 'ignore thread' option. which.... don't know as it'd be that useful, because old threads will, in time, drop into the archives and never reappear in you 'new' list again anyway. if you haven't marked all read because you want to 'keep' all the posts... that's not the right way to use it. mark them all read, and the next time you visit, only new messages (and those with new replies) will be shown. and as i said, if you need an inactive thread, you can find it in the archive, or search for it.

I'd be lost without "mark all read" - it helps me to keep me on top of new messages and older threads that have new responses. Paul
