I've just got my sticky little fingers on the new Led Zeppelin DVD 2 disc boxed set...!!!!! Wow this is really something else....It features footage from Zep's very last concert at Knebworth, a concert I was privilaged to be at....back in '79. To state the obvious, this stuff rocks! Big time! The Bryster

I bought the cd's "How the west was won". Excellent sound quality from tapes so old. Ill have to wait on the dvd's for a couple weeks, but am looking forward to seeing them. I had tickets to see Zep for the first time right before John Bonham died. They canceled the show of course and I never got to see my favorite group. Such is life. Bryster I envy you for sure!

I have the CDs. Fantastic. Now you can see why they were considered one of the best live bands ever. It was hard to tell with the self-indulgent film "Song Remains the Same".
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

I used to live in Luton, (english town) the cinema(movie- house to you Americans) used to show The Song Remains The Same almost everynight after 11pm... I didn't think it was self-indulgent as Tjohn sez, I think it was a fun project for LZed...

Yes, it's excellent! I burned about 20gigs of albums as mp3s to my second disk. There's nothing like non-stop Lead for getting a project pumped out. My current favorite is "Nobody's Fault". Unfortunately, the city I live in Built a huge arena for basketball. They slapped a 15% entertainment tax on music events to build it, but left sports events out of it because they did not want to hurt sales. As a result Led Zeppelin and a lot of other bands passed us by. You're soooo lucky to see them live!

" BTW...Spiritbro77...you really missed out...you had to see Jimmy Page playing a solo enveloped in a spinning cone of green laser light to believe it...awesome!" I saw that too. During the tour they did for "The song remains the same". Was a GREAT show! LB
