There are some wonderful images posted for this competition and this being my first ever entry I must first apologise for lowering the tone somewhat:-) It usually takes me weeks to do something I think good enough for publication so a monthly contest is somewhat beyond me, is there an annual one running? Never mind, here's a quickie image to a quickie song which should ensure 'smoke stacks' doesn't come last!! :-) Walk like an Egyption, an infuriating, grinding monotonic 1986 hit for the Bangles. I was, like some other artists, going to produce the words in full for your delictation but suffice to say it starts .......... All the old paintings on the tombs They do the sand dance, dont you know...... and later has the temerity to rhyme 'yen' with 'Kremlin' I think enough is enough, don't you? Still, this is my entry for June and if a Bangles/Bryce fan does exists I may even get a vote!! Best of luck to everybody.

Cute! And that song was really silly, but incredibly fun! :)

Good imagination shown here Dennisld! The skewed horizon (Dutch perspective) adds to the picture and reflects the giddiness of the song, and that era.
