Any other Mac users still getting a non-displaying newsletter? Is there anything we can do about it??

I've never had problem with the newsletter on my Mac. What software do you use for mail?
MarianneR posted Thu, 26 June 2003 at 6:46 PM
The standard Mail that comes with OSX.

PhilC, you're really asking for it.....! looks around for something to throw, but sees only cat hair and dust bunnies as far as the eye can see (sigh) Guess you're safe for the moment ;) goes back to gazing longingly at her blank newsletter and dreams of unimaginably wonderful, elusive freebies

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

Or maybe it has something to do with localization? My Mail speaks Swedish on a G4.

Not only does my mail speak English, but I also used to receive the newsletter, so it's not my mail, it's a change here at 'Rosity :(

Same for me as for Patricia- I got the newsletter just fine on my Mac until two weeks ago so it isn't macs Mail app !

No cool car for us Mac folks, I guess.......(sniffle) Where the heck does a body go to get the problem fixed??

Patricia, if your newsletter is like mine, you can still read it. Make Mail show the source code. In the Swedish version it's the third menu "Contents something" and then go to "Show...". It should say "Source code" or something like that. Choose it. Now you should see the source code in all its glory. Go Cmd+A (select all) , Cmd+C (copy). Open a blank document in BBEdit Lite (should work with Text Edit too), paste the lot and save it as something.htm. Now you can open this htm-file with a web browser and read the contents.

wow....Thank you for the info :) But I still want them to fix it for future newsletters. More and more Macintosh peeps will be using OSX as time goes on, and it's just bad business for them to exclude that percentage of their market...not to mention unfair ;)
