Has anyone made, or could make, a Hawaiian Conch Shell? The website link attached has excellent reference photos and even an SWF Conch Sound. (it's really cool). http://www.conchking.com/home.htm Also looking for: Hawaiian Steel Guitar, Mynah Bird. PhilC's Hula outfit, Lululee's excellent accessories for it, the Sams3D Tiki Torch, etc, have me in a real "Blue Hawaii" tropical mood. Any other tropical Hawaiian stuff out there?

Hey, thanks! Also found Cooler's Xylophone in Freestuff. Would love to see a Vibraphone, which is a somewhat bigger instrument with metal bars, played by musicians like Arthur Lyman and Martin Denny during the huge boom in Exotica Jazz in the 50's-early 60's. Also looking for more Tropical Tiki's, as well.

Here's a website that shows Hawaiian Tikis. They are carved from wood and another item I think is really cool and would love to see someone make. The other Exotica items that no one is making that would be cool would be large wooden masks, as from places like Papua New Guinea and Africa.

Don't forget Sam's3D Tiki Tourches just posted this week (their sweeeeeet! Thanks Sam's3D!) And Traveler has a stone tiki-like model at RDNS that may work with a wooden texture applied..? Mynah Bird....now where did I just see one? I think www.vistainternet.com in Lyne's stuff?? Try there.

The Daz Phoenix has the right face and beak to make a good Toonie Mynah Bird, other than the fact that it looks right now like a plucked chicken. I had hoped that DAZ was going to release some neat add-on paks for the Phoenix- such as FEATHERS. It could also make a nice Toonie chicken, parrot and other cartoon-like birds with a FEATHER PAK. But- put black feathers on the DAZ Phoenix and it would be pretty close to an Indian Mynah Bird. They make great pets by the way, and learn to MIMIC nearly every sound they hear.
