I have downloaded a few characters which require the use of blMilWom.obj, which does not exist on my machine (I have verified this via a search on the hard disk). I have purchased Victoria3, which includes an obj file for Vic3 To Vic2, I thought this would be sufficient, but seemingly not. What is the solution to this problem ? Thanks in advance. regards, Andrew

Victoria 2 is required. Most likely, it uses morphs that'll only apply to V2 and not V3. You may be able to use the V3 to V2 figure for this, but I haven't, so you'll have to try it for yourself. ;) The solution - buy them all! :) BYS

The downloaded characters are based on the Victoria1/2 mesh, and so pretty much require that mesh in order to work. The readme for the character/s should indicate which is required. While you MIGHT get away with using the victoria1 model (cheapest) it is unclear to me when and how this error is occurring, so it could well be that your character/s require some feature or features of the later, more expensive Victoria2. Buying Victoria2 is the solution. Cheers, Cliff Bowman

Thanks, Nancy Are you referring to the link to Victoria3UVs.exe ? If that is the case, then how do you use it ? regards, Andrew

no.....the one above that... Updates Victoria 3 Base SR1.1 (PC) I dont know how to use it,LOL Im a newbie to poser and I saw the update and figured I needed it...LOL but when I installed it I watched the files being installed and saw the obj file that you were asking about Nancy

I already have SR1 installed, it hasn't made any difference.

blMilWom.obj is the geometry file for victoria 1 and 2 so the only "fix" would be to get and install one of those two (Vic 1 is the cheaper of the two, so if the only reason you want it is to make that morph work then go for V1)

Thanks. Is Vic 1 a distinct character from Vic 1 Lo-Res ?
wheatpenny posted Thu, 26 June 2003 at 9:11 PM Site Admin
It's a lower resolution version of the same character, but the geometry file has a different name ("blMilWomLo"), so the morph wouldn't work with it.

I went to DAZ's store, and couldn't find Victoria 1 anywhere. Is she still available ?
Simderella posted Thu, 26 June 2003 at 9:40 PM

btw, she was under the 'Special Interest' option ot 'The Loft' as it was called.. If you searched for Victoria she probably wouldn't come up, as she's called Millennium Woman... ;) Hope that helped
