My posing skills are not all the best I guess I spend too much time making models and textures and not rendering images. I am trying a trick that a large number of you use to get the eyes of a poser figure to point and focus in the direction of an object - making the eyes move together in one direction. I am using the ball as a targeting source and I have placed it out from the figure in relative scale to the figure about 20-25 feet at eye level. Then I pose my figure (portrait) and adjust the ball to my needs, but the eyes never seem to be quite right. My question is should the ball be closer to the figure or further away? Moreover, what does the eye point dial settings figure all into this?
