Subject: reallllllly silly question

okokok been in poser for awhile not ...geting some decent effects......playing around...but still dontknow what the pbm dials do. scared to play with them as I dont know what they will do for all I know I could get that broken jaw thing again that happen to poor vicky. exactly what do the pbm dials do and why are their so many of them?

Not really that silly. They are "Partial Body Morphs" they are slaved to another dial on the figure throught EMC (Enhanced Motion Control). They are like a full body morph but they only effect 2 or 3 body parts. They are usually left alone at they work automatically when the master dial is turned. Sometimes one of the automatic morphs will cause a problem on just one of the slave morphs. Then you can use the pbm dial to manually dial that morph out. Nerd

or you can negate the full body morph on some parts by setting pbm dial to negative values.

Basically pbm are there so that you can control the various proportions of a figure without applying a full body pose. So kids, you can have a fat right arm and a really skinny left leg. Have fun experimenting :)
