I have tried everything to get poser to work right. I just got a custom puter made and it had 1.5 gig of memory. I have had nothing but memory problems with poser and my computer just shutting down and restarting and error messages about not being able to find this or that file to open. so I took out two of the memory boards and it is running great on 512 mgs of ram. Now what? I own two boards I can't use. I wanted to have lots of memory for my graphics work, but it seems it doesn't want it. I have space on my motherboard for 3 gigs total memory. What good is it if I can't use it. I tried Poser's memory updater and it works for squat which mean not at all. Why don't they make this program to work right with larger amounts of memory? Does Poser 5 do this or Propak do this too? Need help. I can't leave 1 gig of ram laying around the house useless ($160.00 worth). Dh will kill me! I would really appreciate some help from all of the experts here. Thanks in advance. BTW, I am new to Poser, do not own the Pro pak either. Hugs Lucy
