Hi all lol I am wondering if someone could send me in the right direction for file conversions tutorials? 1) the mover tool, I've used it successfully once thanx to a great step by step that came with the download it was needed for, but I don't know when it's needed or how to use it otherwise. :0 2) I've also loaded more than one product that came back and told me that the bump mats? were not included and to convert the jpg. to bum???? Now this lost me...Although I know poser says the texture is missing when I try to load a mat. How do I go about this task? Sure would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thank you muchly. :)

Poser will automatically convert the jpg to a bum if you go into the materials screen and manually try to load it in the bump map window of the screen. It'll ask you if you want to convert it to a bum. Just click yes or OK (whatever it says) and it'll to it for you. Hope this helps. Melanie

Oh and plase not that only Poser 4 will convert jpg's to Bum. Poser 4 Pro Pack and Poser 5 uses jpg's as bump maps. In that case, you can either manually change it in the pz2 (the MAT file) from bum to jpg (Do a serch and replace) or better yet, get Hogwardens Correct Refernce, here in Free Stuff I believe, and it will fix your files for you. But be aware that it may take a LONG time :o)

If you open the PZ2 in a text editor to change BUM to JPG, use .bum and .jpg in your search/replace fields otherwise bumpMap will change to jpgpMap and Poser will choke when it tries to use the file.
