when is the best time to post here? usually I post at night (10 or 11 central time) but i was just wondering, if there even IS a "best time". oh yes, and while I am on the subject of time and crap---where is everybody from?

Mid-NC, USA..it depends on what you have in mind..a goodly percentage of people are in the US, so the 4-hour 'window' of normal daylight and evening hours works best..then probably Europe, 5-6 hours ahead of the US, then Japan and other Asian countries (12 ahead on average, but it can be Monday in Korea when it's Sunday in the US), followed by the rest of the world..but hey, if you post, your stuff is going to stay up until it expires,or even longer, so does it matter? things that make ya go ...hmmm..;)

I'm from the States and if your askin the best time to post, I think pakled pretty much hit the nail on the head. I'm not sure how many people actually take the time to flip past the second page of new images, so I try to post early in the a.m. to ensure that I haven't been buried by new images before everyone gets to em'.

Funny how this came up in another thread too about image view/comment ratios started by Sambucus. I wondered when the best times to post new images would be. I'm in Wilmington, North Carolina, USA along the Atlantic coast (who'd want to live in the middle of NC?!? heheh ;) I gotta give my g/f credit, she knew of a nice town called Wilmington before I ever heard of it. Anyways, that's Eastern Standard Time or -5:00 GMT) Posting-wise not sure what the best times are, probably morning and evening...afternoons are basically shot unless people read on lunches. Me, I'm home all damn day long w/o a job so I get messages almost as they come in...feel like I'm monitoring the Associated Press wire. :( Wait, maybe that's why Pakled doesn't live here...heheh...lack of jobs! Pakled...how ya been man? Next time you're in the Wilmington area, let me know! MD

12:00 Midnight local time. Most of the noisy kids and loud neighbors are in bed by then. If noise doesn't bother you anytime.

When you're on the net you're talking to the world (you know that) Unless the question is about fast upload times you will always be posting at a time when people are looking at the galleries. Or are you only are interested in comments from people in the United States? : ) Australia
