I keep seeing ads with Poser figures which say "Hair by Kozaburo" or "Kozaburu" yet I cannot find a product by him/her on any site. I tried Renderosity, PoserWorld, PoserStyle, 3D Commune and even DAZ and my searches came up empty or with references in ads to Kozaburo hair. Can anyone give me a pointer to his/her website or a place where his/her fantastic hair can be found? The hair is the best I have seen to date and every time I see some ad with a figure with different hairdo with that name on it, I get even more frustrated.

The great thing about Koz's hair is that not only is it the best hair around, but it's absolutely free! Kozaburo is definitely the King of Hair in the Poser realm. Here's a link to get you there easier. Melanieigohigh posted Tue, 08 July 2003 at 10:21 PM
And Poser Heaven does great textures for most of them to add some color variety too!

BTW In the last thread that we talked about Koz's hair, Melanie (IIRC) posted that his hair was free to use in commercial renders now. I just wanted to clarify, what I heard straight from Kozaburo. Only his newer hair can be used in commercial renders without written consent, not the older ones like Rei hair, because they were collaborations. So if it's just by Koz in the readme it's probably safe. Just thought you guys might be interested in knowing that.

While we're on the subject, don't forget the amazing selection of hairstyles by Studio Maya. He's up to something like 19 now.... Amazing stuff. And also free! :] Fishrnollman posted Wed, 09 July 2003 at 7:05 AM
I did indeed download Kozaburo's various hair packs. I was absolutely shocked that they were for free, because the quality so far exceeds other hair packages that I have paid for (which explains why I could not find his stuff anywhere). And they are so easy to use. And the number of morphs is amazing. I did have some problems with some stray sections of hair when I started spinning the morphing dials, but even so, I can live with a little postwork (and I did get carried away a little though it was my very first render using them). Alien Skin 4000's fur plug-in for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro is amazing even for bad Poser hair as a base. But Koz's base is so good that postwork in pretty trivial.

Berserga, thanks for the clarification. Yes, it was I who mentioned that, but I wasn't aware that the older ones were not included. Thanks for mentioning it. Kozaburo didn't mention that in his e-mail when I asked for his clarification. Melanie
