Do any of you use or want to use the Poser4 Sketch Render feature. It can add a lot of versatlity to Poser images, especially if one does not have other 3D or paint programs. I have been working on new sets of Sketch Renders and working out the flaws in a few of the presets. Is any body interested? As soon as I can get around to it I will post some how-to hints about making SR easier to use.

I'd LOVE to know how to get ANYTHING useful out of it !! All the presets seem pretty weird - eventually I gave it up.

That would be great Don. I use the sketch render quite often, or at least one setting on it. It can give a very good "hand-drawn" look to an image. Paul

You can see one of my Sketch Render styles at the Rederosity Store. Take a look at my Musician poses. I used a stipple effect on them. Click on the thumbnail to see the larger version. It' s still kinda small to see detail well, but you can see the essence. I have now used a few SR Poser pieces for some commercial illustration work. A how-to is coming.

That would be wonderful! I created a nice "Virgil Finlay" preset by fine tuning "scratchboard". I have some tips myself, but I'll wait to see yours first. I notice I have to avoid transparent hair in sketches, or the head goes transparent as well.(?)

It'll be a week or two or so before I have anything to show here. I have several current illustratin assignments to finish first. Money before fun! Don't wait on me.
