Andy has been one of my favourite artists ever since I joined r'osity. He posts here as hobbit, wonderful artist.

Yeah, Hobbit's one of the chosen few. Here's a link to one of my favorites here. Over 1700 viewings and 74 comments on this one pic! And the guy is so cool he doesn't even let you rate him, just lets the comments do the talking. Hmm. Maybe I should do that, not that I'm his equal or nothing, but I usually get greats and excellents when I get ratings, I'm not sure if I really need that now, like I did when I first started posting. Sorry, just worked 12 hr stretch and apparently have started typing every thought in my head. Bye now. This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Hobbit's pictures here at Renderosity was the reason I went out and finally bought Bryce. (back when he was doing beach pics) AgentSmith

Aye, he is and has been my favorite CGI artist since I first saw those beach pics... Some people are more technical, some are more animation-oriented, but for sheer detailand impact he is the best! Someone should harass him and let him know we're all ranting about him again...! Another cool thing is that Hobbit's work has inspired and affected many other artists, and helped motivate and push us to do better work. He is the Rembrandt of the Bryce world... (wait, Rembrandt didn't do landscapes!)
