Something I ended up trying after watching some smuggler movies on cable. Comments and criticisms most definitely welcomed:)

This is a good idea with a lot of visual promise. I would suggest moving the ship a bit more into the scene as it tends to pull the eye out of the image. On a tech note, with those sails and the looming cliffs, there is gonna be trouble. I look forward to seeing where this goes (No puns intended!)

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

Maybe the wind died, or something. I look forward to seeing your progress.

I had a thought ( I know, those are rare)You might try a few squashed spheres, or a solid terrain with a volumetric cloud material at the edge of your water to simulate breakers. I tried this in a scene and it seemed to turn out well, judging from comments. I like your scene in progress and I think your water material and lighting are perfect for the scene. And if I were on that ship I'd be dropping all anchors and furling those sails in a hurry!

This scene could really do with some low-lying volumetric fog..
