Any idea who made these props? I'd imagine they were made by the same person, looking at the thumbnails. I need to know if there are any restrictions when it comes to using them - I'd need a few of them for a commercial render. I'd appreciate any help :)

Looks like something Dark Whisper did or Dodger. Sharen

I'm guessing I haven't downloaded them from the Renderosity Free Stuff section because I can't find any of them in there :( I did a search on both Dark_Whisper and dodger and didn't find any items like these. Darn it, why can't I sort my Poser stuff better :/

I think I got it... It'd seem the props were made by Fishheid - now the problem is that I can't find him :/ Does anyone else have these props and a readme they could check? :/

I have those exact books. I'm pretty sure I got them here in Freestuff but can't find them there now. I'll search my stuff for the original zip.

Jackson ( ) posted Sun, 13 July 2003 at 9:13 AM

Dang, I can't find the original zip. But I did find the readme file; here it is in its entirety: BEGIN "BOOKS README.TXT": Gothic Book Collection I was working on a scene and I needed some books. I couldn't find any on any of the Poser sites so I made these. There are three styles: Book 1 - closed Book 2 - closed with metal corners Book 3 - open To install place the files as follows: Book 1.pp2 ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book 1.rsr ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book1_Tex.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book1_Bump.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book 2.pp2 ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book 2.rsr ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book2_Tex.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book2_Bump.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book 3.pp2 ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book 3.rsr ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book3_Cover_Tex.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book3_Cover_Bump.jpg->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects Book3_Pages_Tex.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects MorphSkull_Tex.jpg ->Poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/Objects And that's it! I've also included texture map templates so you can make your own books: Book 1 Map.gif Book 2 Map.gif Book 3 Cover Map.gif Book 3 Pages Map.gif By changing the colours, covers and x,y & z scales you can make a whole library. Use them anywhere for anything - no restrictions, just don't sell 'em. Fishheid fishheid@aol.com For more Poser odds & sods visit my home page http://come.to/fishheid END "BOOKS README.TXT" I tried that web address and got an error.

Thanks! I tried the url too but the page is gone :( Maybe he quit the Poser hobby totally? :/

VampireWriter ( ) posted Sun, 13 July 2003 at 12:18 PM

If you search freestuff for "Fishheid" you'll get a gothic skull (broken image/link) but if you follow the link to the author's website you'll find the skull in the download section.
