Can I create a wire frame or partial wire meshed into a skin texture render in Carrara 2?

You will have to render the image in both wireframe mode and regular render then do a composite is a paint program. Ive never done it but it should be as easy as laying one that is transparent blend, on top of the other. Kevin

But I can render a wireframe image?

Yes. You could also use a wireframe texture on an object and do it that way. To render as wireframe, just change the render type to ZBuffer, make sure render mode is wireframe. And then choose either fast lighting or actual lighting. Brian

Sure, why not? Under the render room there is a setting for ZBuffer. Select this as your render mode and hit the wireframe button and you should be set. Now understand... if your models are shaded they will take on the color of your color shader, so if you are looking for a pure white wireframe you will have to find a way to use only a white shader or the default. I'd suggest creating a second .car file and removing all but the default shader. This way you don't lose the original. Ken dork.gif
