I decided that this would be a better place to continue this topic. I'm a computer geek, but not a hacker. Is it difficult to set up a dual boot system so I could use both win98 and NT, depending on my needs? That way, it would seem one doesn't interfere with the other. If that's the case, that would be the perfect solution. I would hate to have to re-do half my progs, etc. to change over to NT. A dual boot never occurred to me. Thanx for that tip.

Win98 doesn't know from dual boot, so the way to do this is install Win98 first, and then Install WinNT or Win2K. WinNT/2K will take care of the dual boot during the install. If you're installing WinNT, make sure it's on a regular Fat partition, since WinNT can't read Fat32 like Win98 can.

Lemurtek is exactly right. Install Windoze9x first, then NT/2K. Either will ask you if you want to create a dual-boot system. Note that you'll probably have to re-install some s/ware under NT and most of it under 2K if you use a dual boot system (at least I had to) Paul
