Subject: (OT) Apple computer releases G5 computer and next generation OSX

the new G5 computer is a 64 bit based processor operating at a clock speed of 2 Ghz. The new 64 bit architecture allows an active use of up to 8 GB of hardware memory, and a faster 8x AGP graphics support. The entire G5 system has a throuhput of 16 Gbps, with a front end bus running at 1 Ghz. The new "panther" OS is code for the release of OSX version 10.3. It offers support for a video ichat, improved networking, improved searching, improved security, and improved user swapping and preference organisation.
