Dose anybody know where I can find a tutorial on, how to make lightning in Bryce. Ive seen pictures made with Bryce with lightning in them, and wondered how they did it. I would be grateful for help on this.

You see the program that Bryce comes with called Bryce Lightning? It's not that.

No, I am looking for lightning as in a rain storm. Funny, I never noticed that before. I always though that was spelled Bryce lighting. I had to go and read up on that. Sounds like something I should learn, but for now Id settle for lightning for a rain storm.

lol, just pullin your leg. No, I don't know, sorry. I think some people were using 2D planes in the challenge two months ago(natural forces or something like that).

I remember some earlier posts. Try a search with the keyword "lightning". Some will be about the program, but a few will be what you're after.

I thing Kai Power Tools 6 has a lightning plugin but of course you need PSP or Photoshop, and it`s all more expense, but I guess a lot of the lightning you see may be done in post with this.

Actually, I think, (not thing) that it was the version after 6, which I don`t think they callled 7, for some reason.

The old house is available on several sites in several different file formats so I can't credit the modeler. I added the "ironwork" with Amorphium. The texures on the house are from Chemical Studios.

On the house, the lightning and the lighting effect are realistic. The upside-down tree is cleaver also. I think a mix of them both would make a real nice scene. The upside-down tree, I understand how to do. To make an object in another application and render it in Bryce. Well, this may sound easy, but I have a feeling its not that easy. Another question I have is: Can I use this Kai Power Tools 6 plug-in and get the same effect? I just think why buy another application when a plug-in will do the same thing. I am going to research them both and make a decision which way to go. Thank you for the ideas.
