There's a story in a great book I once read entitled The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho. It tells about Narcissus, who as a young, beautiful man, used to go down into the woods that bordered his father's castle and would stare at himself, his incredible beauty, in the waters of a pond. And everyday he would come closer and closer to the gentle waves of the water, hoping to see more of himself, until one day he simply fell down and drowned, victim to his own self-lust. The lake turned salty, as if mourning the passing away of such a beautiful creature. The Lady of the Woods, the Goddess of the realm, came by and asked the pond why it felt sorry for Narcissus departure from the living. "Is it because you used to like his image being reflected off your waves, his very presence in your company?" she asked. And the pond simply replied, "no, I mourn for Narcissus because everytime he looked into my waters, I could see myself in his eyes..." Comments and crits welcome, the title is Reflection. The 5 DTE mats are there, and the globe mat is a real 8000x4000 pixel photo of the earth. Same with the clouds. Needless to say this started off as a space scene ;) Drac

Very good materials, specially the leftmost one: I just love it. Could you provide a close-up? Seems a wonderful wood/iridescent pattern. S.

I'm rendering right now and the scene is a memory sucker so i'll put'em up for download later. :)
