I have tried just about everything to try and figure out how to mask but I just can't seem to get it. Can someone tell me how to mask cause I have spent countless hours trying to figure it out and I just have not been able to all I can get is a red screen over the picture. If someone has a picture tutorial it would help me greatly thanks Scott

Make a selection of desired shape in the file where u want to mask. now copy the image which u want 2 mask, go to previous image (where the selection is) & shift+ctrl+V ("paste into"- is in edit menu)

Hey Scott,
use the gradient tool or lower the opacity of your brush and paint around the edges...
