Does anybody else have the problem, and a solution for, the phenomenon whereby the camera dots will not show up? I get the Pose Dots, and when I open the file menu and choose camera dots, they simply will not appear. Aaargh!

Look in Runtime/Dots.... and see if there are any listed here (where they go). cameraDot_1.cm2 Above is a file name sample. If they ain't there you may need to re-install to get them, or from someone else if that is not a violation of file distribution. If they are there and do not show in the Studio you may still need to install again. Don't know why they would not show. A work around is to save camera settings to your Library.

Don't use the file menu; click on the name above the dots to get UV or Camera dots instead of Pose dots (assuming you confirm Don's instructions first).

I use a PC, and sometimes have trouble selecting the camera dots. I find if I click on the track ball icon thingie first, I can then select the camera dots.

The only way I can get the Camera Dots to show up reliably is to select one of the cameras (in the pull down list below the working window) first. Then I can bring up the Camera Dots immediately, no problem. Other times, when a figure or prop is selected, all that wants to display are the Pose Dots...just one of Poser's little quirks ;) (Poser4 on an iMac, BTW)

This problem happens to me just after a render. It takes a while before I can choose camera dots. Selecting the camera first will help, as Patricia said.

Clicking on the track ball will select the camera currently in use, and is quicker than using the dropdown menu.

I wonder how long it's going to take me to retrain myself to click on the trackball--it's more effecient than using the drop-down, but will probably be the instigator of many a "DOH!" while I get habituated to using it ;)
