Hi, everyone. I'm thinking seriously of upgrading from my P3/500 mhz to a new P4, specifically for 3D apps like Poser and Vue d'Esprit. I'd like to hear some words of advice from the man/woman who owns one. How long does it take to render, say, a 20 second animation in Poser with a P4 processor, and what was the speed of the processor? What was the longest render you've ever done with a P4, how many frames was it, and at what speed? Current processors out there run between 2.6 - 3.2 GHZ. I'm hoping to find out if there the 2.6 or 2.8 processors, which are somewhat cheaper than 3.0 and above, are comparable in performance when doing 3D rendering.
