Hi all, I posted an image to the beginners gallery since I am really just starting out. It was suggested that I post to the poser gallery instead! I do not want to re post just for the sake of putting it in another gallery. I have included a link to take you to the image, comments etc.. are welcome good or bad as lond as they are constructive and not destructive. Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully look at my pic.

That is good! I don't think the person who suggested you post it in the Poser gallery was saying anything other than trying to give you a compliment. :) Comments, let's see. Good basic composition, good color scheme. Love the way the wings rise up out of the flames, very nice. If I had any "complaints" it's that the hair looks really thick and a bit like a sausage. :) Perhaps a bit of surface painting with a fine brush to give it a bit of depth might be in order there, but honestly, it's a pretty minor criticism. I also personally find the skin on the body to look a little plasticky, but again, that's a personal thing on my part. If you wanted to fix it with a bit of postwork, a soft smudge brush set for a low opacity (I like around 10%) can soften the surface a little and get rid of that shine. BUT... again, that's a personal thing. There's no reason a fantasy being such as this wouldn't have shiny skin, and it does work, so it's a pretty minor point. Seriously, this is better than a lot of images I've seen by more experienced artists. If this is your 'beginner' work, you're going to really knock 'em dead when you've got more experience!!! bonni

I agree with Elizabyte - that is one fine image, and if that is your first attempt you will go far!! Well done.

Antje, I did not take it any other way. All I did was mention that someone suggest that I posted it on the main gallery. I just did not want to take up more space reposting in other areas, so I thought a message in here would help. Sorry if it looked as if I was complaining. BTW I like the work you do.
