Never wild about those characters before, but this is a great way to use them, as Z-Toons. Looks almost like a new cartoon show for cable-TV- "Barney's World" ?

Now that Barney's out of the closet, check out "Scientific American" Aug. 2003, page 65 (lower right): Posette sitting on the edge of a desk. They use Posette in almost every issue now, but this is the first "Z-Toon". Not worth scanning, but I didn't see Snowsultan mentioned anywhere.

Mateo, does that picture in Scientific American really look like a true Z-toon? I'd be very interested in seeing a scan, as I'm not about to buy it if they wouldn't even give me some credit. ;) Thanks for the info. Good image too TrekkieGrrrl, those characters look great that way! :) SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

Snow, try the attached link for the online version. I can't scan and post an image from the magazine (illegal). I hope they also didn't violate your rights in the matter, in case you copyrighted the procedure (probably inadvisable). The guy who does the Poser illustrations there has never acknowledged anybody or anything, even Curious Labs.Spit posted Thu, 24 July 2003 at 5:19 AM
Definitely z-toon. But the lead time for magazines would suggest that the image was made before the current z-toon techniques were revealed possibly?
