Hi all, I created this portrait, and wonder if I could get some constructive feedback on it ? I made it as follows : * Loaded up hi-res Don (no hair); * In the P5 Face Room, chose a random face, and made a few small tweaks to it; * Applied Mec4D's Hans head and body textures; * Selected green eyes for Don; * Added HMann's "GI Joe" Dynamic Hair, and scaled and lined it up with his head; * Changed the hair color to "Copper"; * Rendered using production settings. My main disappointment with this is that, even tho' I used copper, the hair on the side of the head still came out dark. I'm not sure why, as the skullcap is meant to be skin-colored AFAIK ... of course, I might be wrong. regards, Andrew

Re: the hair, maybe you need to alter the colour of the skullcap as well?? (guessing here, I haven't played with P5 hair too much, it hogs too much processor!) Apart from that, it's a nice-looking man. The eyes seem a little off though, maybe due to the strong reflection in them, which seems at odds with the light source in the render.

I am a reasonably new user of poser too, Welcome to your new obsession - I agree with Karen1573 that he looks good, nice textures, but the eyes do seem a little strange - the highlight is straight in the centre of the pupil and yet the light seems to be shining on to the top right of his head - I don't use poser 5 hair either I am afraid so I can't help there - but apart from that - GREAT!!

Thanks for comments so far.... I'm not sure what to do with the eyes, they were the default Don green eyes that came with P5. Re the highlight in the center of the pupil, that is a valid point but also a valid scenario, i.e there is a light to the top-left of the head, and another light in front of the subject. Re the skullcap, I looked in the material room, and there was no dark-color applied to the skullcap. As I said, I'm still learning, and I'm pretty ignorant about how skullcaps are used.
