Now I know this is quite a simplistic pose compared to some of the scenes I've seen in here, but since art is always about people -- even if people draw an alien blob in a galaxy far far away -- I stuck with making a simple people pose. I'm quite happy with it, because I love the character's attitutde in the picture. That makes up for many technical deficiencies. But I'd appreciate comments about it. It's made with Poser 5's Don figure, with a face I've morphed with the Face section. He's got no hair, because I've still to learn to control the hair segment of Poser 5 properly. :-) Now I've got to figure out how to include backgrounds in this poser, or how to import the pose (INCLUDING textures and such) into Maya. Or I need to figure out how to use Illustrator. I thought all you needed was chalk and paper to draw, but I guess I was wrong. :-)

Thank you :-) Is there anything one can do to improve it? I mean as it stands now, and not as concerns building it into another scene? Always happy to learn more (and spend the nights waiting with baited breath for the renderer to finish) :-)

Very cool expression and head-pose. The tie could be improved. I could see the collar being that stiff, but the tie seems to be defying gravity a bit there. :)
