Beautiful circus stuff, ziggie! Someone--oh, I think it was Helmut Schaub...darn!...made a huge circus tent. I was going to recommend that you do a search for it, but I remembered mid-typing that he got ripped off and pulled his models. Has anyone heard whether he's coming back? :(

Don't forget a flaming hoop for the Lions and Tigers! And hey, how about a cannon to shoot Capt. Dare Devil across to a waiting net! Of course, the Lions, Tigers and Elephants need little pedestals to sit and stand on! Hmmmm. What else?

go to the Meshes link, then Misc link. Helmut Schaub Circus Tent, Office Wagon (circus), Ticket Wagon (Circus), Animals Wagon cage (Circus). there also wagons and gypsy wagons that could be also "circus" wagons. All meshes are 3ds format, some with maps, some without. they import into Poser pretty well. all Helmut Schaub's other models and stuff is history, great modeler that gave up on the Poser community unfortunately. anyway, my contribution to the circus search :)LaurieA posted Fri, 25 July 2003 at 1:33 AM
Helmut did post a pretty cool Samauri helmet over at PoserPros for a weekly item a couple months back. Laurie

Don't forget to get the wheels too, otherwise your circus wagons will be floating in mid-air (quoth the voice of experience).

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

And... Top hat, long-tail red coat, jodpurs, cravat, and knee-boots for the Governor (Ringmaster) Snack-tray vendor (tray with strap... like at baseball games, too) Freak-show stage (for mummy-boy, snake-woman, fat-lady, giant, et al) big broom and shovel for elephant you-know-what...
ernyoka1 posted Fri, 25 July 2003 at 1:13 PM
That makes me wonder if... I should make some of that "elephant-you-know-what"..... Naaaah...
MachineClaw posted Fri, 25 July 2003 at 1:17 PM
straw. there is always straw on the ground everywhere at the circus as well as elephant you-know-what. freakshows aren't usually associated with circus's, thought that was more of a carnival thing. in eather case, we would need the strong man hammer and thermometer with the bell at the top too.
ernyoka1 posted Fri, 25 July 2003 at 1:26 PM
Not straw. At least not here. But saw dust*) is indeed on the floor. *)Not really saw dust but those little chips. Not sure what they're called in english

Well, there are a lot of animals ready to perform in Ziggie's Zircus. DAZ has an elephant, camel, lion, primates, and some bears and others. VistaInternetProducts has some other circus type animals at their site.

Heh! Check out out your old P4 Manual Cover (for those who have one, ha!) Has anyone EVER made the sexy little Posette trapez artist chickie? Isn't that why so many guys bought P4, to get that sexy manual cover? (And considered the potential of what her cute little tight leotarded booty might offer in OTHER scenes? Heh! Getting emotionally nostalgic thinking about it!) So- Isn't the trapez girl a job now for: (drum-roll, horn trumpets) Koshini in the Tight Little Leotard swinging from the Tent Tops! Yea-Ass! Hala-LoooYah! Geesh! I need to go sit quietly in a corner now and sob quietly thinking of the potential of all of this!

LOL @ Veritas777... damn... my secret is out...! I have been working on a trapeze set up for my pro circus props... it's up there somewhere in amongst the gantry/girderwork :) Trouble is... if I go ahead with this pro circus version it will be HUGE... Poser size and file sizes :( ziggie
