Ok, been making changes. I redid the table stand. Made a light switch in wings. It needs to be pushed back just a tad. I've got an idea for the doorway so that I won't have to put in a door but I may end up doing that if it doesn't work. Changed the tabletop so the design shows up better. But that took out one of my dte's so I'm trying to come up with somewhere else to use the extra texture.
Any crits? The boards around the door are a bit wide, but this isn't entirely unrealistic. I live in an old house and a lot of the molding is friggin wide! But this room is more modern so the door frame shouldn't be that wide. I've got two ceiling lights in the room and 2 out in the halls.
Ok, I think that about covers it.
TIA for any more help.
Angela

Looks good so far--the lighting seems very realistic for an indoor scene. Are you planning on texturing the door frames/baseboards? And I like the carpet mat--very nice!

I think it looks good, and I know what you mean about the molding. Maybe a vase for the texture? Lin

Yeah, a vase, or a decorative box maybe. I think it's coming along great Ang. I love your pictures and the frames especially!

Ang: I wonder if the pictures on the wall are really straight? Even allowing for them hanging forward from their hangers...

Great realism, with the pictures leaning forward and all, that's cool. I'm not sure i like how the design is black, though...maybe white or something less drastic than white. Awesome lighting, too.

Yep, the pictures are hanging a tad bit forward on purpose. Also, if they were hung perfectly straight it wouldn't be like the real pictures I have hanging in my house. Never can seem to get them to hang right, lol.
Slakker, were you able to see the design in my first wip? I couldn't see it very well even on my monitor at work so I thought making the design black helped. Personally, I wanted the other color but I didn't think it showed up.
mloates, I'll try to get some bump on the baseboards and trim but if it doesn't work (I have a heck of a time getting the x,y,z thing to make the lines go the right way) then I'll be pretending that these are brand new boards freshly painted :-D I know, a little less realisic than my crooked pictures.
I've put the table top on the table, whats the opinion on that? makes more room, will need to find something else to put in the room. I also changed the width of the door casing and its a tad out of whack, will need to fix that next time round.
c&c welcome.
Thanks

Ang: The baseboards might look better if you applied a wood.mat and then re-coloured the .mat white.....0.0p
