Have you ever wondered why all the product ads have women standing sideways or lying down? It's getting so that I'm beginning to think it looks wrong when I see a real women and she's vertical. LOL. Is it beyond the ingenuity of Renderosity to have vertical banners somewhere? mac

WEll, I had figured that one out. LOL. My question was 'Is it beyond the ingenuity of Renderosity to have vertical banners somewhere?' And besides, the whole thing appeals to my warped sense of humor. mac

I always like the ones that seem to be standing side ways, always good for that twist on perspective of for when you are laying down on your desk. you know after you have been trying a render....for HOURS and you go"Ill tweek onemore thing" and LOCK UP....then you just lay your head on the desk and wonder....why is that banner standing sideways...... buuuuuut I think a vertical banner would be interested...on the side over there >>>>

The community pages have verticle ads on the right (at least they are on the right on my screen, but my menus are on the left). Well, actually they are almost square but verticle looking.

The only thing that really bugs me about all those horizontal women is when their breasts fail to obey the force of gravity ;) I mean, even encased in a bra or bikini top, those things should sway at least slightly! It's only fair that I also mention at least one ad that was beautifully realistic that way--SteffyStaxx, I think the product was called :)

pssst, Patricia, their silicon. yup, vicky gotta boob-job. just like that aint her real nose either... ;)

Centuries from now when archeologists dig up the graves of these women with breast implants, they'll wonder what the bags of silicon were for. Maybe they were religious or ceremonial; maybe they will figure that they were placed over their eyes. The plastic bags of silicon will probably go on forever.

I know plenty of guys that worship women with big breasts so maybe implants are religious...

Yeah. Gravity is important. Most women (not the model types) have their breasts wind up in their armpits when they lie down....hehehehehe. ;o) Laurie

If you really want to study the effects of Gravity on Breasts, you should stop by your local DropZone and attend a Nekkid Skydive ;p (sorry no pics...besides, there's no skydive equipment for Vicky around here :(

Spurlock, "Centuries from now when archeologists dig up the graves of these women with breast implants, they'll wonder what the bags of silicon were for." Men yesterday, today and tomorrow and forevermore will figure that out in a solar nanosecond.

Dark elegance I am truly glad that I am not the only one that has that happen from time to time. LOL (Hey misery loves company now!)

Funny, I was just thinking about this very thing a while ago, when one of those banners appeared at the top of the screen. It drives me crazy. It makes me dizzy to look at an image that's been turned sideways, just so they can get something to fit into a horizontal banner. I have to scroll down so I can't see it. In my case, it does nothing for the artist who is trying to sell a product, since I can't look at the banner. It hurts my neck to turn my head sideways to look at the thing. Most of them aren't just someone lying on his or her side, it's a standing image that's been flipped sideways. I think one person started it long ago, and it caught on, but it's highly annoying. hehehe - just kidding, but I agree a little as per the banners; creativity seems to be in short supply these days, ne? Then again, if it sells (ie, if it ain't broke)... That seems to be the prevailing attitude, just like the "SEX!" banner craze, yes? They come and go - once someone comes up with a new and exciting design, I'm sure there will be 10^3 other merchants ready and able to copy the style :) Funny thing is, banners don't do squat for me; I know where the MP is and I just go poking around in there. /P

The ones that really bugged me were a couple where the image had been squished sideways (as was) too.

I click perhaps one banner a week. Since to qualify for a banner ad, the vendor apparently has to be into soft-core porn or middleclass SM, most of the things I want to buy don't turn up there. I find them an annoyance, like most commercials. I don't come here to ogle silk-slicked beavers. (Yeah, I know some of the vendors in the banners are not selling Adult--that great misnomer--products; but sorry, that's what I associate with R'osity ad slots.) M
