No, I'm NOT some sicko pervert. Being a working-poor artist/illustrator/graphic designer, I usually cannot afford the services of a model. That's where Poser comes in so handy; I do all of the pre-production posing, lighting, staging, etc. in advance using Poser as a 'sketch' tool and add the fine detail in the final painted illustration. Shaves hours and hours off of my work time.
Problem is, I just accepted a commission for a series of about 8-10 children's book illustrations. Hiring a child model is so expensive it would cut my profit margin by almost half, and the children figures that come stock with Poser 4 are...not very good.
Actually, I could probably work with the stock Poser children IF I could find some clothing, props, hair, etc. for them. Barring that, I could consider buying some aftermarket Poser children if the price was reasonable (again with the 'poverty-stricken working artist' thing). Any suggestions?!
