Hello It is my first visit on the Poser Forum. I am French and I work with Poser characters. I am seeking Father Christmas and his clothes and everything related Christmas. Where can I find them? Thank you in advance. He

Welcome to the Forum Helene. I'm pretty sure it was Steve Shanks who did a Santa suit, you could try his site (Poser World, the link will be on the right under Top 15 Popular Sites). You could try the Props Guild or 3DCafe for various Xmas items, and either here or at the PFO, there is a Xmas tree in the free stuff sections. Paul

In fact, the tree was by tastiger, and is in the free stuff section here. Just search for tastiger (or tree) and you'll find it. Paul

I am sorry but I cannot find Father christmas. Where is it? Maybe it is easier to create it. Moreover, I have found many stars in Poser characters as Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Rose Dawson (Titanic)... I need that 2 real persons become 2 Poser characters from a photo I would send. Do you know people interested in that creation? Thank you. He

There is also a Candy Cane prop in the free stuff. Search for "candy cane".

We also seen: Father Christmas's sleigh, reindeer (ok maybe it was a caribou) elves, Nutcracker Prince, & holly, several of those being at Zygote. If any of those sound useful, ask and I'm sure we can track them down. And welcome to the forum!

I did santa's sack last year, or maybe the year before, and also some wrapped presents. If I can find them I'll put them on Free stuff again.

On a different angle, there are also a lot of period props that would fit nicely into a Charles Dickens era Christmas scene.

Ummm....Helene....we dont really call him Father Christmas over here....try searching under "Santa Claus" and anticipate that the character will be somewhat differient looking than the European version...The American Santa Claus look became visibly fixed with some of Thomas Nast's cartoons about the turn of the century. Scarab <- "Hey! What'sa dis line mean?" "Oh dont worry about that, that's just the sanity clause...." "'Ey....you canta fool me...Dere AINT no Sanity Clause!!!"
