...the defult color scheme of Renderosity? I'm asking because I myself am using what MindVision-GDS intended for it to be, and I know what my posts and such look like through my personal settings, but I'm wondering how many people see it differently... not only the images, but banners and thumbnails as well. :)

I can't stand white lettering on black backgrounds. I am using the current defaults...much easier to read.

I prefer White lettering on a black background, it makes it easier to read, tha new default makes my eyes hurt.
Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.
PapaBlueMarlin posted Sun, 27 July 2003 at 7:45 PM
Ok. I'm just the opposite. I find it easier to read the white lettering on the black background. A white background is just too bright and hurts my eyes :)

Right now I've matched the message area to the side bar. I'm the opposite of Dialyn, in that I have a hard time reading black lettering on a white screen. (Not on paper, just on a computer monitor because it's giving off light.) After a while I get eyespots.

Depends on how long I've been sitting here typing and how bad my eyes have started to blur. After a few judicious uses of CTRL and my scroll wheel (changing font size from normal to OH MY GOD), I sometimes have to switch to a different colour screen.

white letters on black bg for me.

Black background, white text, orange-ish links. Same as the previous colour scheme. If I could change the sidebar from cafau lait to blue again, I would.

I prefer black text on black background. This way when you cuss me out I don't get offended ;p

I use the default. I simply don't care what it looks like, I care about the content. Besides, I'm just way too lazy to mess about with those colours. So, if they decide to change it to yellow with purple dots - so be it...

White text on black bg makes me go japileptic. :) But black on white bg makes my eyes hurt. So, I opt for black on a medium tone bg. Kuroyume

As much as I hate it, I'm using the default because, in time, I'll be making my images for the gallery to work with the background. Images that I made in the past with black background in mind really look bad on this new off white. I'm still contemplating removing my gallery and starting over. Just waiting to see if osity stays with this for the gallery or not. As for the forums, the white text on the black background is ok. The brown is not very inspirational and I don't find myself going to Poser or Bryce to try things out like I used to after reading a thread. This brown is just drab and that's all there is to it.

White text on black here. Still hate the default!
TrekkieGrrrl posted Mon, 28 July 2003 at 2:08 AM
Very light grey text on a VERY dark grey background here. Not quite black, but almost. I have also tried something that resembles the colours judith showed, but went back to black :o) Links are: Unvisited: a darker grey than the text, visited: a green like the green in the logo.

Mine is white text on a very dark brown/red (almost black unless the lights are off in my office).

Ernyoka, Yes I do! but I keep some archived and some more visible if I'm helping a person... like Patricia who hit a snag in PhotoShop when certain pixels she retouched earlier managed to get "locked". How that happened is still an unanswered question, so I don't want to bury it yet. You probably get IMs that can't be answered off the top of your head or that ask for reseach... do you keep them out where you'll be reminded? Or make paper notes? BTW, the awful green is temporary when returning from a link. As soon as I click something else it goes to purple. Carolly
