More info, The round sprouts in the back are all just cloned and rotated off of one object. I used 4 different variations in the front, (4 different tiles with 625 blades of grass each) There are 12 tiles used in the front for a total of 7,500 blades. I just played with the dte to get an interesting texture. The texture on the rocks is bad I know, but I was mainly just testing the grass. In entirety the grass has 800,000 polygons. Not that bad.

Actually, on re-evaluating the grass, there are only 320,000 polygons here. I had the terrain selected too.

Wow!! That has to be the best grass yet. How did you do it? Are you able to animate the grass? :)

Hair for grass! Neat Idea! Wonder if it will work the other way around (grass for hair) as well. Thanks Ornlu; a new concept to play around with.
