I'll try to help, but I'm not to sure. What I would do is open through Photoshop. First go to file>open, then when the window that opens, chose SHOW ALL FILES, then pick which PDF you want to open under, Generic PDF or Photoshop PDF. I am pretty sure you need to convert indexed color to save for a GIF. For a JPG you can save in RGB or CMYK. When you convert to indexed color, there are different color palettes to chose from. Chose the one that best suit's your need's. Good Luck! Spanfarkle <;)>

To get the option of saving to GIF you have to convert from RGB to indexed color. For either GIF or JPG you also have to flatten all layers down to one. Photoshop only includes types in the "save as" list if they're compatible with the current format.

Also, for GIF, you should proably use the EXPORT function instead of SAVE AS, as this gives you transparency dialogs that you otherwise wouldn't see.
