Two unrelated questions...not sure if this is doable in Photoshop! 1) Is there a tutorial or a plug-in that does these kind of simple line frames: http://www.homegrownaudio.com I don't want a fancy wood frame or a watercolor sketchy frame. Just something simple like that one they use on the front page surrounding their splash image. 2) Anybody know how to create wireframes in photoshop? Like this: http://www.zucable.com/warmouth/images/warmouth.jpg Third circle. See how the connector sorta turns into a mesh wrieframe at the tip of the connector?

you could try: 1 open a new layer,2 give it the colour you want your frame to be, 3,go to your marque tool (the first on the left of your tool palet)now mark the area you want to cut out(Ad parts with shift held or subtract with alt held) now pres delete and yes, this should give you a frame. now got to :layer>layer style, and ad a bevel, emmboss or other effect to suggest depth. play around with this and you get amazing results!, have fun!

2: 3d program did it the wire frame seems to have changes colur quite easy to get weire fram when you have a 3d application, such is life for the 2-d photoshop. you may not want to have such a complex time with a pen tool. fun fun-with layer mask shapes underneath your photo's easy as pie.. a rectangle with rounded edges fill white with effects such as stroke will be fine... and mask your photo on a new layer.. get what you want from it.. no examples today.. researching "firewall" for a 'win 2000 sever' BORING hehehe
