Are you using Poser 5? If so, I'd really recommend using a displacement map to "remove" skin and flesh.

I'm very impressed, it looks just like a cleaned up version of the photo on Page 24 of 3DWorld - and the T3 website. Amazing. You should tell ILM what you did, it took them ages to get this look.
