Came across another view quirk ... Vue does not follow conventional AXIS setup. Every other 3D app I have used has the Y-axis as up/down ... NOT the Z-Axis. Is there any way to change the naming convention in Vue so that it is correct? Thanks, Tim

No , you cannot change it. Vue is not the only 3d application with Z for "up/down", Carrara is too and for sure there are others:-)

Truespace does as all well...Actually, I, too had a hard time with this when I first came over to VUE, but now I just think of the 'Z' in azimuth, then I think 'sky', then I think UP, and THEN I'm alright...;-)!! ==steve

Thanks for the info everyone. BUMMER. Thanks, Spider, I'll give that "thought process" a try. It's not the end of the world, just something I'll have to get used to. Wouldn't be so bad if that were the only 3D app I used, but Bryce, Poser, Max, etc. all use the "NORMAL" axis setup. Thanks again, Tim
