Subject: 40 hr bryce radiosity render

ALL render options enabled at 64 rpp in this image, i laos added an hdr dome (zero ambience) for some reflective hilights. ask if you have questions...cause i gotta run for now.

hey, rayraz, you think that's a long rendertime, check out my truespace gallery, i have one pic in there that took 6 days on an athlon xp1900

Yes, rendertimes. I've just encountered a similar problem with my last posting: with true ambience, over 2 days at 64rpp. Without, 6 hours at 256rpp. Seems that TA is a renderhog. Your image is really cool, I specially like the blurred reflections and the highlights in the spheres.

robt, sure my personal record is 19 days one one image, and 6 days on an image with only 2 spheres. But 40 hours for 2 balls and a cube still is long.

Vile.......we didn't need to know that...........lol 8) Great render madmax, the reflections are perfect as as the shadows and highlights. I don't know if I'd have the patience though for a 40 hour render. Do you have another machine to render on or was this done on your main one? Catlin
