Thanks. It seems to have gone away on its own. Probably just a
delayed reaction. I've had P5 open all day, so it's probably just
lagging then >^_^

I looked at the Window menu too...and couldn't find Graph anywhere.
I must be blind ;P It's actually been running rather nicely since
the last patch. Though it is a bit of a pain to have to go into the
materials room before stting up so I can find my interface dots.
Once I reset my interface it's all good though. I'm just starting
to play with some of the bells and whistles. Today is enhanced skin
shading using the translucent node. I'm also playing with
volumetric lighting. I'm wondering if it's worth the time when I
can simulate it in Photoshop. I'm thinking not >< The skin
is turning out pretty good though >^

Not too hard, I hope. We've ALL "been there, done that" (that's why Dr Geep's forehead is so flat) ;=]

No, I'm too happy with the skin details to abuse myself too much today >^_^< I do wish there was a way to get these results without washing out the shadows on the figure though.

Just use a milder soap. ;=]

Momcat, After you've reset your interface, save the state in Preferences for next time (and set to load to preferred state, if not already). This problem was likely caused by someone with a larger screen than yours at CL when they did the SR3 build!

layingback ( ) posted Tue, 05 August 2003 at 9:30 PM

Oh, and that button (to close the graph palette) has been a problem with all Poser versions - seems like they set the hot click area either too small, or - more likely - failed to switch focus to it.

Momcat ( ) posted Tue, 05 August 2003 at 9:47 PM

I did that. It loads all the components as prefferred, but the interface to factory, and my dots are gone. If I set it to launch to previous state, it just takes too damned long. This is less convenient, but much faster. >^_^<;
