Hi All, It's beena while since I have been here, love the new look at Renderosity! (Although I liked the old look too!). Some time ago I wrote two Bryce tutorials (one on animation, one on negative lighting) and I want to thank you all (you know who you are!) for getting the word out about these! They are posted on my Web site: www.clydesight.com, and according to my server logs, have been viewed by quite a few people! I even discovered that a specialized search engine dealing with on-line tutorials picked them up and listed them! Someone must have told them (unless they spidered the site for some reason) about the tute's to get them picked up. So many THANKS to you who have spread the word! It shows that folks may be finding the tutes useful, which was the purpose of creating them. I have developed a CD-ROM for both MAC and WINDOWS that uses a LOT of Bryce images and I am selling it over the Net. The reason I am telling you this isn't so you'll rush over and buy it (of course, I'd love it if you did) but to offer you yet another on-line display of Bryce in action and what I learned from you all. In my site, in the section that deals with the product "System 12 Self-Improvement Interactive: Smoke Free" (the CD), if you go to the Tour Program section, you can see a little movie done entirely in Bryce that shows how the unique packaging for the CD works. Also, the VR sample ("Sky Dome") and some of the sample images show Bryce at work. Bryce was my main program of creation. Why am I telling you this? Well, you all have been really super at helping me figure things out in Bryce, and while I have a long way to go before I am an "expert" --(effective lighting is still a difficult process for me to understand and utilize--can't come close to some of the things I've seen here!), thanks to your help and support I have been able to make this product, which may be very helpful to others. So, I thought you'd like to look at these images and see one way Bryce is being used to help and inspire folks. Just making the CD has been a success! Again, many thanks to so many of you for your suggestions and support! And of course, to Rendersoity too for being Renderosity!
