Hello I am a not so newbie bryce user who just hasn't figured this one out. I have even (gulp) read the manual.. ;) I know I have seen references to this, but how the heck to you get the tile north south east or west feature in the terrain editor to work? Can you point me at a tutorial? Tell me where in the book or cds the info is hidden? I would be eternally grateful!

Thanks, I found this tutorial, http://www.best.com/~calyxa/pearl/terraintut/fractaltile.html It didn't entirely answer all my questions but at least it Did give me a clue as to which direction I am to go. It seems to be the only one out there I have found so far. The process Does seem to be buggy. Even following her directions the map doesn't always layout precisely between terrain objects and now what do I do with the gaps in between the tiles? Ah well ;) I will figure it out someway.

Redmadrona, Calyxa's tutorial is the only one I know about. After making another tile, what I do is: 1- hide ground plane 2- select the new tile, go to maximum zoom 3- move to the border and move the new tile until the match is perfect. Calyxa's suggestion about grouping the tiles, scaling the group up, adjusting borders and scaling group down works very nice. I have no visible gaps in my renders that way.

The tile gap is still there, Calyxa's idea works but not perfectly. The zoom in and use the controls way is slower, but seems to work better. I am working on a moon lit dune picture and any gaps show up horribly. Am getting a new web site this week. crosses fingers Will post what I am working on and see if you can offer any suggestions.
