Hi. I think it's great that you guys are offering this, but to get the email and file storage, it comes to $10 a month (+set up fees). .mac for instance costs $100 a year (albeit with 100mb storage instead of 150mb) without a set-up fee. Maybe I am missing something? I would think that to be more competitive Renderosity would be competitively priced against a more established company.

It looks like it IS because Renderosity offers 150Mb. .Mac offers 100Mb for $100, or you can upgrade to 200Mb for $160. If .mac did offer a 150Mb, it looks as if it might cost about $130. Just a guess.

Um, yeah, but .mac offers an intergrated mail, storage, and other features. Not to mention it's offerred by Apple, not a smaller operator. I guess I've come to expect smaller operators to charge less than the big boys.

Oh not to mention for a year, Renderosity is actually $20 more (granted with 50 extra MB of storage, but less of the other features).

Oh, absolutely. I just thought you were talking in terms of storage space only. Point is, more storage space costs more money, you can't compare the price of 100mb and 150 mb. 150mb is more storage space, so it's going to be more money, naturally. And, yup .mac offers a lot of neat things, Renderosity is just storage/e-mail, it doesn't elude to be more. Hey, if ya need all the stuff .mac offers, go for it, looks like a nifty little thing. Especially if you need 100mb storage or less. But if you need more storage space and less of the other frivolities (like me), I would suggest Renderosity. I don't want to pay for things that I will never use, is all. AgentSmith
