I haven't seen a free one around but look at Vistainternet for a range of farm animals including chickens. http://www.vistainternetproducts.com/chickens.htm

My haystack prop is back in Free Stuff again.
SAMS 3D has a great barn, stable, corral, tractors, and other farm items for sale.

Cal at www.wg3d.com specializes in older farm equipment and turn-of-the-century household items. He does have a large number of free stuff items, some of which you might find very helpful. His CDs are a bargain, but you can also find his work posted on these sites in the Free Stuff areas. Jean Cephalon also has some interesting items such as bee hive and smoker, old lamps, cabinets, and IIRC, a tractor. I think she posts under "jeanc", but Little Dragon would have her URL. Carolly
