Does anybody have any nifty tricks for applying a reflection to clothing? Any good tutorials out there for this purpose? I am wanting to make a shinny fabric for some things but having trouble with reflections. DTigerWoman

you need to use a good reflection map... heres one: http://www.morphworld30.com/tutorials/chrome.html with various percentages of relection and highlight you will get darker effects than just metal.. Heres how I achieve a latex/pvc look (poser4 propack) Object colour: Black (can be any colour) Highlight colour: white Ambient Colour: Black Reflection colour: white I set the highlight size to 55% and the reflection size to 50% I use a reflection map i made, if you want i'll send it to you.. The pic shows the settings above, using no texture map, only my reflection map and those settings, see I changed the object colour to red.. for the silver i simply put the highlight size up to 98% & The reflection size to 95% Hope that was of some help to you!! -SimderZ- xXx *the dress is bt BatLabs for V3 in the MP!

Hello ... This web site has some of the best reflection maps i have seen .. if it is a latex look that you are going for. They also list the settings used for them .. as well as providing some very nice bump maps for Vicki 2 and 3 and some of BillyTs products. hope this helps troubleTO
