Can someone recommend the best method for uploading their work to the galleries? I stayed within the guidelines but the loss of detail was very disappointing. I thought about increasing the size but I would prefer that it be viewed all, or most all, at once. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks

If you're using Photoshop for postwork, you could use the "save for web" option

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

Thanks! I'll take a look.

also if you have photoshop use ImageReady .. it compresses wonderfully without much loss of detail (and you get to choose the level of compression as needed) HTH /gz

Hey, Fret, since I have both (PS7 and IR), what's the difference (if you know)? I always use "Save for web" in PS and "juggle" the sliding scale to what I think is a good size for the loss of detail in my JPGs. Are you saying IR gives more/better control?

Photoshop's "Save for Web' uses the same compression algorithms as Imageready. Always use SaveForWeb when making JPGs, it saves massive amounts of space and with better clarity.
