Greetings-- I recently bought Darkworld's set as mentioned in the subject line. I am trying to use "Fallen Angel Wings" but am prompted for the following file: fallenangelbump.bum. As far as I can tell I have neither this file or its jpg equivalent. Since DAZ's store still doesn't let you do a broker info lookup I cannot get the contact email to email directly. I hope he sees it here, unless someone else knows what I need to do here? TIA /gz

You are probably using Poser4, which cannot recognize a *.bum file (don't ask me why, I'm a newbie myself). You have to click on "Cancel". Computer will -after a great while- ask if you want to stop looking, reply "Yes", then- after another great while - the figure will load and you have to find the file in the "materials option" under the renders choice (hope I am getting all this right). The program will then prompt you to convert the file - do so - and after another great while, the bump will load.

no that is not it. I use Poser 5. I need to know if this file has been accidentally left out of the distribution. By the way, my problem isn't that the file can't be processed it is a problem of the file just is NOT there Thanks anyway Keep rockin' /gz

go to members and look up darkworld. I got his email from there last week to get the readme on his earrings. Daz had the wrong readme in it.

Obviously the bump map is included as jpg in the texture folder and you would have to convert it to .bum yourself BUT Poser 5 as well as ProPack cannot do that, they use the jpg file only.

that's what I am saying ... there is no JPG file (or BUM for that matter) the file is missing

If anyone's interested... I sent an email off to Darkworld and told him about my missing file. It is indeed a missing file. He took it out of the distro because of its size and meant to take out the reference to it in the cr2 just forgot to. He sent me a link to said file and now all is good. Yay! I wasn't nuts! :-) Keep rockin' /gz

I would love this set - but it is just too massive for my download - I am limited to 2 hours at a time online.
